Are we headed toward a jobless recovery? According to a new data brief by our friends at the National Employment Law Project we’re not. There will be many new jobs at the end of this recession, already many new jobs are being created, and according to a recent paper by MIT economist Davis Autor most of them will be in the service sector. The question is, will they provide us with living wages and a path to the middle-class or are we destined to continue to create McJobs in our industry that drag everyone else down with us?
