Yesterday, with a full-page in the New York Times, we and a diverse group of organizations kicked off a multi-year, multi-movement campaign to take the National Restaurant Association head-on. As one of the most powerful lobbying forces in the country representing the likes of McDonald’s, Starbucks, and the largest full-service restaurant company in the world — Darden Restaurants, its agenda leaves more than worker’s rights in the dust. The Other NRA and its corporate members commitment to profits at any expense means our public health, democracy, animal welfare, and our planet are at risk.
