Our Mission:

ROC-DC seeks to improve the working conditions in the restaurant industry by empowering those most affected.

The Restaurant Opportunities Center of Washington, DC – (ROC-DC) launched in September 2009. We are a worker center dedicated to improving the conditions and raising industry standards for all Washington, DC restaurant workers. We understand that the restaurant industry is a multi-racial, multi-cultural industry, hence we are determined to build a multi-racial membership-based organization. We seek members from all communities across the District to build, develop, and lead the worker center.
