ROC Michigan and MichiganVoting.org Launch Statewide Initiative to Transport MI Voters to Vote
In an effort to increase voter turnout and provide accessible rides, the Restaurant Opportunities Centers (ROC) Michigan, MichiganVoting.org, and a coalition of partners announced Tuesday the launch of #ROCMIVOTE, a get-out-the-vote campaign to provide voters in 10 Michigan cities — Detroit, Flint, Ypsilanti, Benton Harbor, Lansing, Southfield, Highland Park, Pontiac, Hamtramck, and Saginaw — free transportation to their polling locations.
