STOP THE SPREAD!

The lack of paid sick days could make it almost impossible to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. Restaurant workers can no longer afford to choose between earning a living while sick and being unable to feed their families when taking off due to illness.

We are asking all food chains in America to adopt a paid sick leave measure in this time of health crisis at hand.

THE PETITION

THE CHAINS

We’re holding food chains accountable for the health of their workers and the general public. Here is a list of the chains that have or have not adopted paid sick leave measures yet.

Darden

(Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Capital Grille, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, Eddie V’s, Yard House)

Under their policy, sick leave will accrue at a rate of one hour for every 30 worked, and current Darden employees will be credited for hours worked in their most recent 26 weeks. New employees begin accruing time when they start working, but cannot use the time earned until they reach 90 days of employment. (Source)

IHOP & Applebee's

(Chains of Dine Equity)

Chili's

(Chains of Brinker International)
